Discover the joy of handbuilding ceramics in this creative workshop. We'll explore fundamental techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab-building. No prior experience is required. Whether you come with a clear idea of what you'd like to create or simply a curiosity to try something new, everyone is welcome.
After shaping your pottery, you'll also have the chance to paint and decorate your piece, adding your own personal touch.
The most direct technique: press and shape a ball of clay with your fingers to create bowls, cups and organic forms.
Roll clay into coils and build up walls layer by layer. Ideal for larger pieces and more sculptural forms.
Roll out flat sheets of clay and fold, cut and join them into shapes. Perfect for plates, tiles and angular forms.
Add textures, stamps and painted details to personalise your piece before it goes into the kiln.
Please note: Colors and sizes may change slightly during the drying and firing process. This is a natural part of working with clay — we'll guide you through what to expect.
