At PURACERÂMICA, we wanted to create a creative space for everyone. In a fast-paced and increasingly individualistic world, we want to build community and strengthen bonds through artistic expression while learning from one another.
That is how the idea of pottery painting on bisque ware was born: an intuitive and accessible way to explore ceramics without needing to learn pottery first. Each person takes home a unique and personal piece, along with meaningful memories.
We finally opened our doors in early 2022 after delays caused by the pandemic. We knew pottery painting could bring creative people together, but we did not anticipate the huge enthusiasm for ceramics and the creative process.
Over the first years in the studio, we learned a lot and grew professionally until we felt ready to expand. Today, we also offer pottery workshops for those who want to develop a deeper connection with the craft.
Starting something new can be intimidating, but without risk there is no reward. That is why it is so important to us to create a comfortable, safe and judgment-free environment where everyone feels free to experiment.
Come visit us and become part of our community!
Painting ceramics offers something our fast-moving world often does not: the opportunity to slow down, focus on each brushstroke and watch colour come to life on the piece. The process can feel almost meditative and helps you stay present in the moment.
Pottery is one of the oldest crafts in the world, with pieces that have survived for thousands of years. We want each person to create something with intention, something they can keep and cherish for many years.
Join us for open studio sessions to paint your own ceramics, explore our workshops to learn new techniques, or dive into traditional pottery in our Clayground. You do not need experience — just curiosity and a willingness to try.
We want everyone to feel comfortable and at home in our studio. We make art approachable and remove the fear of “not being good at art.” All skill levels and backgrounds are welcome.
We aim to reduce waste through quality materials, plastic-free packaging and more responsible choices. If you need a box to take your pieces home, we have recycled cardboard options available.
Everyone was a beginner once. We create an environment where you can feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes and learning. We celebrate progress over perfection.
Sharing knowledge and inspiring others is part of the creative process. The heart of our studio is you — our community, connected through art and the joy of creating with your own hands.
