About This Course

Do you want to learn hand-building techniques? Our 4-week pottery course on hand-building techniques is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to slow down and completely relax while creating. In this intensive course you will learn the essential techniques that will give you the foundation to create any shape imaginable: pinch technique, slab-building, and coiling technique. At the end, you will glaze your pieces.

What Can You Expect From This Course?

1st Session (Week 1): Introduction to ceramic processes and learning the pinch technique
2nd Session (Week 2): Introduction to the coiling technique, the ideal method to create larger objects
3rd Session (Week 3): Learning the slab-building technique
4th Session (Week 4): Glaze all your pieces using different techniques such as dipping, brushing, or pouring over. There are 12 studio glazes to choose from

You will also learn decorating techniques such as texturing or stamping and how to join different clay parts.
